I bought an Ecotric Dolphin. Have had nothing but trouble with very little hours of enjoyment. I have been stranded twice. Luckily I was with other family members. But they had to tow me with a rope for 10 miles. I contacted Ecotric, I had to send them a video, I had to purchase a new motor $ 110.00, which I did. Then had to have someone replace the motor, since I am not trained in replacing motors on electric bikes. Went on another ride. Broke down. Towed again, another 10 miles. Contacted Ecotric. Wanted another video. Now needs a new battery at $250 .00. How much money do I invest in this bike?? I am 65 years old. Live in a climate where you can only ride a few months. Now I am not able to ride at all!! So disappointed! My sons have Ecotrics, that is why I went with this brand. Never had any issues. I got a lemon !
