Who doesn't buy an MTB e bike for $1000? (Got on sale for a $500 discount, how lucky) What is there to lose? What an absolute delightful bike. MTB to the core. Tough, nimble for an e bike. I had tested bikes costing $5.5k. Difference was in the suspension. So for $1k I can change the fork and put in a different rear shock. But, actually, no need. When climbing, use 2nd or 3rd power setting and ride up just about anything. Plus the battery will last all day, something the expensive bikes won't do. Down hill is great. Suspension is a little mushy, but controllable. Needs -- A dropper seat post. $100 type works just fine. If your racing, go for the #400 type. But if your racing, you don't need a Tornado. Ecotric, Thank you.
